triple xxx carb

can u still use a pointed cone air filter cover when u use a triple xxx carb? i bought the cone from bd dealer. thanks, im interested in buying a new carb.

If you already have it bolted to a G carb and you get the G from Bob at xxx it shouldn't be a prob. I think the only issue is with stock aircleaners and the thunder jets if you decide to get them. If you have questions about the carb just email Bob he is really helpful and can answer all your questions.

If your going to get a new carb you should get the psi. Triple x is nice looking and all but they don't touch psi in performance.

psi may have performance over xxx, but i was really just wanting a chrome carb. $1200 vs $500 i have a 640 cam, heads been port and polished, thats enough for me.... chrome is on!

With a 640 cam (WOW), the Triple X carb. will really "wake that puppy up"!!! I couldn't be more happy with both of mine, and a third one is soon in the making... Plus you can call Bob up, a really a nice guy to talk too, and to do bussiness with...

drove for hour and a half to his place, actually its in a small town call CUT AND SHOOT, its next to conroe tx. the place was closed, a trailer house with a garage. from the nice website, i was picturing a big building with many employees. it seems hes the only one there..... i will call him monday for some info.....

Bob is a great guy - helped me a lot on jetting etc.

His carb runs great on my bike - lot of power....

I now run a "Bob made" 34 intermediate and a 78 main. Will go for a 80 and give a "Bob made" 35 a try.
