Anyone know of options other than Andrew Barnes and Baker to get my transmission rebuilt.

After spending nearly $1,500 (U-Haul truck and Trailer plus gas) to get home quickly from Gathering at Pinnacle my budget is blown to Hell and Back.

Andrew only does the transmissions nowaday witht he bike, no seperated from Bike -- too many issues with people installing them themselves and blaming him.

So if I send the bike to him(even if I take it) I'm looking at at least another $2,500

At this point the K-9 is going to be down for a while.

Sorry about the bitching just miserable right now.

Not yet, been sore from driving the uncomfortable u-haul 800 miles so I'm taking today off from everything.

Mike, you can send to Baker in Michigan. I just had one done in April for less than 1500 plus shipping, they paid the freight back. you also get a one year warranty.

Hopefully it's something simple for you Mike. If you do buy used and there's nothing wrong with it but definitely take a peek under the cover of anything you buy.

When I installed my Baker open primary I decided to send my transmission Andrew for the upgrade imput shaft and ended up with a lot more new parts. the bike and transmission only had 2500 miles on it.
