transmission play

Just curious.. How much transmission play should these bikes have? Slip it into first and rock the bike back and forth. How far are you able to rock your bike- 1 inch, 2 inches??

I don't think it matters. If you had a problem that caused any noticeable amount of "extra" play, you'd know it for sure. I doubt you'd get a mile down the road before something exploded.

I dont know how far mine moves but it aint much maybe an inch

not necessarily all of the motion would be in the tranny, part of it would be in the primary chain and part of it would be in the drive belt.
