So lets say you score a trailer for a killer price and even though it does it's job just fine and it's nothing fancy, you want to kinda give it a facelift without spending a ton of cash.......
(prices are approx.)
White paint--already had
Pint of Black--$6.00
3 one inch throw away brushes--.60 ea = $1.80
1 roll one inch blue painters tape--$3.00

So, for about $11.00 bucks........I get started......

TA DAAAA.........:eek:

Before

After

Still gonna do the ramp in a fresh coat of grey (that I already have as well), and I need to do some touch-up work on the floor, but you get the idea......

Material cost = $11.00
Labor = free
Beer = $734.28
So you see, for only $745.28, you too can have a nicer Dog House.....:D:D:D

If you look at pic 2 you can see that the trailer came with those black 6"x10" traction pads that run up the ramp and into the trailer. They're plastic, but have a very rough texture that gives your tire something to bite into. I plan on re-installing those once all the paint work is done. :up:

barhopper

Another round please
I hope you get $700 back for the beer when you return the empty bottles. One hell of a redemption fee. Beer is worth any price though. Nice job on the trailer.

Front tire lock / tie-down was already installed. That alone can cost up to $300.00, so that's why for $1,500.00 total cost, I could'nt pass it up. :cheers:
