I know, I know....should ride it!

A few trips on the calendar this year where I'd like to bring more gear, thus the bike will be trailered.

What are you guys using for your 9.5 foot monsters?

I have a 24' triple axle TPD, but the bike has only been in it once, and it is not set up for hauling a motorcycle.

There are several threads on this popular topic.

Way to go is with a toterhome! Optima Toter (Mercedes Freightliner and 40 foot stacker) for the win here!

I love my Aero 7X12 finished interior and tandem axel. My bike stays in it all the time when I am not riding it. Keeps it nice and clean dust free and no chance of a damn cat getting near it. Bought from here in the swap meet........Thanks again for the great deal Peter!!!

Now there's a couple of sweet looking haulers. Just about a necessary evil hear in the Northeast.

Disclaimer: I do not condone hauling a bike. :D

You can get a Ridgeback on a 5x8 trailer, corner to corner, but you have to pick it up and set it over corner to corner. Knows from experience when the Ech died 80 miles from home on the interstate one hot summers day. I do not recomend the 5x8 corner to corner thing for the old folks or weak hearted or weak backed!!!! That was the first experience driving a scooter down the side on the interstate my daughter ever had as I pushed it about a half a mile with her in the seat driving it as I pushed. I was fixing to start up the next hill, getting close to the exit, when the guy with the trailer showed up after a couple hours on the interstate. Honestly, I didn't even want to try to load it up, it didn't even look safe to try and load up, and I was having a frustrating day as well. I am thinking I had rather push it all the way back home rather than try to load it on this trailer. The straps he had weren't the best either. I am not liking this at all but I did really appreciate someone I did not even know dropping everything, leaving the poker run to come and help. Then he said something that really eased my mind about it a lot when he was saying there was no way he was going to leave someone stranded, broke down on the side of the interstate a long way from home, I was even pushing in the wrong direction from my house to get to the exit, everything that day was going wrong. He seemed thrilled to helping us out when hundreds of other folks just passed on by. Then he told me he was a retired Army Ranger and I knew from my association with the Rangers He was heaven sent. It was in his blood to come and help in anyway he could, and he did help us out. It was appreciated too! Ray says get a bigger trailer if at all possible, but when the United States Army Rangers show up when you are in distress things are fixing to get much better!!! Even if they are alone!!!

The Ranger Creed
U.S. Army Ranger Creed
The Oath for U.S. Army Ranger
R-----Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of the Rangers.
A-----Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster, and fight harder than any other soldier.
N----Never shall I fail my comrades I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong, and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one hundred percent and then some.
G----Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress, and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow.
E----Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.
R---Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor.
