Tires ?

To those of you who went with Shinko tires on a K9 did you put Shinko on the front? If you did what tire ?

I just tried Metzler's 888 on the new Boxer I got, I have ran Dunlops Elit 3 for 10 years on my chopper. but looks like i have to find a new one for that one too.

I am pretty sure this is what I have. Shinko’s 611 MH90-21 front, and the Shinko 011 on the rear. I am happy with them both. The Avons were not available and both he Metzler and Avon tires were almost twice the price.

Hey Pat, I run the 611 on my K9 and the 777 on the bagger. The 611 is a good tire in my opinion, haven't had any issues at all.

That is the popular opinion and now I am trying to find one that's no more than 1 year old.

I just had a Mertzler mounted (90/90-120) with 2 OZ of beads. Just was curious how much others used.

Chaparral is the name I think. Knothead knows for sure. Same place he gets his

Chaparral be the place...Pat if you order your tire before 3 pm you will get it the next morning by fed ex...there is only very rare occassions I dont get it next day...I ordered golf cart tires from them last week for a customer had them the next morning by 10 am

That is where I get mine too, usually have them the next day and the tires are never old

I just ordered a set for the K9 and as soon as I get the stitches out of my hand I'll learn how to use my new tire machine. I might even wait until Robert gets back.
