The Avon tire will last 5000 miles or more with proper air pressures. If you install a Metzler ME880 it will hit in most applications the belt.

Running Avon venom on mine. I just replaced the front and going to replace the back one in the spring. I think I paided $192 mounted and balanced for the front. I think my front tire must have been out of balance because it sure made it ride smoother. The front was starting to dry up and crack on the sides more than tread going away.

I have had all kinds on my HDs but, I like the Avon Venoms b/c they stay sticky in the heat of south Texas.
