Tires and bearings

Changed my tires and bearings today 11750 miles. Front bearings were ok, replaced anyway, on the rear which has three bearings, the inside bearing was really rough. The spacer on the inside the hub was really rusty, wire wheeled and coated the spacer with rust inhibiter and replaced all three bearings.
If your ready for a tire change, I recommend pulling the hubs and checking the bearings and spacer. By the way, only caught one time in a really hard rain and washed the bike with a hose once.
Now lets see how well these Cobra's hold up.

Good luck with the Cobra tire. Is it a 300mm

Let us know how close to the wear bars it is afer 1000 miles.

Do you use Dyna Beads for wheel balancing?

I'm going to replace my bearings at 20k. Im at almost 18k now.
I had my bearings checked at 10k and was told they were fine.

My cobra rear is lasting about as well as the Venom R 10k max

Replaced my rear bearings at 8900 miles about three weeks ago while changing the tire. They were a little roughnot horribly bad but I figured while I had the rear wheel off it was a good idea to change. Used SKF 6205-VSP25 bearings that I picked up from NAPA.
