Might make it work with the right size pulley spacer...each bike is a little different so might work on yours.

from what I am aware of, with the BDM designed around Avon tires, the other brand that you would have the best luck with would be the Shinko.
the Avon 300mm is actually 308mm
the Shinko 300mm is actually 310/312mm
the Metzeler 300mm is actually 318mm (this being the reason for having to "trim" the sidewalls)

these dimensions were gleaned from the spec sheets posted by the companies themselves, they may have been changed/updated since i last read up on them. so, do your own investigating so you will be comfortable with your decision.

Agreed that it will be a dicey situation to buy a 310 tire and hope it will somehow fit. Be sure your tire shop has a liberal return policy....haha. Most 300's barely fit. I have read about a lot of guys with Metzlers having to shave or sand down the tire ridge to keep them from making contact with the swingarm, even if the rear tire alignment is perfect. Avons are a snug fit, but usually do not pose that problem. The tire you are asking about is 10 mm wider than a 300, which is a hair over 3/8 inch, (3/16 inch on each side). It certainly would not fit on either of the two K9's I've owned.
If you want a fatter back tire, do what Blacktopper did. He had Matt Moore at BDM build him a K9 with a 330 rear tire. Looks like a beer barrel rollin down the street. The build is kinda tricky and pricey, but BDM can do a good job for you, even on an older model.

Ya this is what I was figuring but I got a 310 for $50 and I’ve been considering narrowing my rear end this winter thinking about cutting and making a 220 or a 200

It'd be interesting to know exactly what that 310 measures. Since if Woodbutchers numbers are correct (and I have no reason to doubt them) maybe vee rubbers makers of the 310 are simply being more "honest" about the dimensions. That would put it wider than the avon but same as a shinko both of which fit K-9's with no effort.
