I just had new Avon Cobras installed. I just noticed on the front tire....the rotation arrow on the tire is pointing towards the rear of the bike....not forward. The rear tire arrow is facing the correct way. Did the shop screw up and install the front tire the wrong way??

ive put about 200 miles on the tires so far. Should i trailer the bike to the shop? I dont want to cause damage to the tires....or to me. Will driving like this hurt the tire?

It's incredible what a bunch of dopes are working on your motorcycle. How does a mechanic overlook that?

i have no idea....but im gonna call and bitch this guy out tomorrow. The arrow should be pointing towards the rotaion of the tire. (forward) but the arrow is facing toward me when moving.

Definetly have the tire switched to the proper direction. Tires have a dot marked on them. That is supposed to line up with the valve stem for balancing.

Can't tell if it's mounted incorrectly based on your description. Depends on if the arrow is on the top or bottom. Arrow should indicate direction of rotation when moving forward as others indicated.

As others have stated, it could be o.k. You need to tell us HOW you are viewing the arrow.
If you are looking at the arrow when it is nearest the pavement, it will be pointing to the back of the bike. If you are looking when it is up near the fender, then it will be pointing ahead.
