Well as most of you know I have a mastiff and a k-9. Not too long ago Shannon and I took my k9 all apart had stuff polished and painted and ect. mostly Shannon.

I never ride the Mastiff it just sits, I prefer the k9 in every way compared to the Mastiff so I have no attachment to it other than it looks cool in my garage. I never planned on having two Big Dogs It Just happened this way. I need to get rid of it.

So should I fix everything thats wrong with it and have it all polished out ect. or just sell it as is. I figure it will be in the 2k range to fix all and put new tires on ect. At that point could I get 11k for it or do I just sell as is for 8-$8500.00 it has 13,000 miles on it. Ill post a pic of it with my phone. Alot of you have seen it.

What would be a good get rid of it price. It has cosmetic flaws only, it runs perfect and needs nothing in that way. There are many on here that has seen it in person and ridden with me or one of my buddys and can vouch for its mechanical condition.

Give me your thoughts please.

Whatever you choose the sooner you sell it the better just losing value sitting around.

If you can find someone to buy it current state than I think $8000 is a great deal for you.

You might be able to pull 10 if you can get someone to match the fender and fix the speedo

I'd list it for $8500 and take $7500 and get rid of it before it gets too cold. At the end of the day is it worth extra $1k+ for the the and effort to sell a more expensive bike? Prob not as waiting to fix it probably means it sits in your garage till spring.

Speedo was the two little nuts came loose. I dont really like selling in the winter, may wait until spring, just need to decide if Im not going to fix chipped fender and tank put on new tires and strip and polish. The chrome on the rocker boxes are blistered too. I would have sold it already just hate dealing with people. Im not a good salesman thats why I have most everything Ive ever bought.

Nice bike. I paid 8k for an 06 Mastiff earlier this year. Needed some love for sure, but I'm not sure it would be worth 10k to me with all the small stuff fixed. I'd advertise it for $8500 or so and see what happens.

I hear ya there...i don't have anything for sale either think I have about 8 sets of exhaust pipes.

Wait till spring... Might need a new battery. Just saying .

Sounds like a lot of time and effort just for $1k and it taking up space over the winter when someone can accidently bump into it.

Man I think im just gonna clean it up as good as I can get it and let it rip for $7500.00 firm. Im so sick of working on shit... Ive got my mint 350x 3 wheeler up for sale too. Time to let stuff go....

I have a 250r also its a roller I was getting ready to build a motor for, but just sick of working on stuff. If I dont get what I want Ill keep everything, but just wanting to simplify.

That would be what I would do little elbow grease and call it a day. No doubt an extra $1-2k is nice in the bank but waiting till spring and doing all the work, New tires, bla Bla Bla...then deal with all the tire kickers you'd probably just wish you just sold it for $7500.

At some point you realize your time is just worth more than money.

Man I'm with you!! I'm tired of working on shit! Seems as though I'm working on something all of the time. I remember when I 1st go the Dog. I think I worked on that thing for a year or so before I got it so I didn't have to worry about riding!!
