Hi Guys,
Finally got a chance this week to ride my 2003 Big Dog chopper. The weather finally hit in the 50s to 60s in NH and I couldn't wait any longer. THIS THING IS AWESOME! Only issues I had was trying to get it into neutral and yesterday morning I went to start it and found out the battery terminal was loose. Came up on here, did a search for both and THANKS to You Guys, both issues were posted with solutions. I even got to work on time.
For finding neutral, the rev it about 500 PRMs works every time. Drops right in. The loose battery terminal seems to be something I will be aware of, and have on my "to do check list" every week while I go over the bike.
Funny story. I had to stop at the local Harley shop on Tuesday to pick up a tool kit and disk lock. There were 10 to 15 bikes out front. I parked the Dog, and a few of the Harley owners came over to check it out and ask questions. Everyone was real nice, but one. The sales guy! He was standing out there with everyone, and he rolled his eyes and shook his head as he walked away. I was laughing my ass off. Wasn't expecting that kind of reaction from the sales people. Maybe he was working on selling some bikes they had for sale out side. Oh well! oops.....
Hope to run in to a few pound members during Bike Week in Laconia this year.
Thanks again,
Bmarchant
