Has anyone bought this carb. and how do you like it ? Thinking of installing one if i get good replys. I have the V&H Big Radius two into one pipes and the S&S dual cone intake. i might have to change the jets not for sure. If i do this work i will more than likely check my cam and get the .600. Thanks for any input. !!! PEACE OUT !!!

Here it is, looks good.

TAZ Carbs for more Performance. S&S Carburetors by Triple X Carbs

I will prolly go to the twin 40MM carbs and intake from Eldebrock, like the Carb setup Purple Dog has on his bike. My current Big Air PSI was an up grade from the XXX Carb I had. Maybe I can do the change by July for my Birthday. OL want to buy me something for the dog, but she doesn't know she will have to shell out 1500 for what I want  .

looks like to me if you dont spend alot of time above 4500rpm, just stick with the original xxx carb

The difference is that the added Thunderjet allows you to run a smaller main jet for better throttle response and still have enough fuel for top end as well.

Third circuit requires more tuning but end result is more power throughout the RPM range. We all want more power dont we?

I am running the chrome Taz and very happy with it - I did do a whole bunch along with it though...

heads - valves - compression - cam - from V&H BR's dual to a 2 into 1 without baffles(Wicked Bros Sick IV).

Excellent increase in performance, but the stock intake with a K&N did not breathe nearly enough (Gates took awhile to get me my intake:().
Changed the intake after a couple hundred miles of playing with jets, accel pump and even torque cones(not good at all).
My intake/filter made an incredible difference, you definately need to let them breathe with the extra gas :2thumbs:.
The S&S dual seems to get great reviews, so that should not be a problem for you.
I also need to change those ugly yellow fuel lines, they dont stay clear for long...
