The May Thang - 2023

We try really hard to do everything we can for everyone, but also be the hosts of the event and knott tries to work on the bikes if it's a small fix, and inbetween many other needs of the event-but we all know the dogs like extra attention usually. We try to talk to everyone, feed everyone, hug everyone, and sometimes have family and local friends show to the events. Our attention spans run a bit shorter and we get scatter brained from running on Little sleep.
Lots of love is shared here for the biker family.
We both(and Bobby) sincerely hope that everyone has made great memories here in TN.
So, following this is probably something most will be sad to hear.
Knott & I have decided that this year's event was the last for the Douglas Farm- May Thang. We have been back and forth on when we would announce this, but we think that now is as good of a time as any.
Please continue to share your photos and videos. We both love seeing all the precious memories.
Just thought it would be nice to give a heads up to the people that book up yearly.
Also, wanted to give others the opportunity to hold a event if they wanted to take the "May" slot, for Dave has already been notified and says that he will only be holding the September gathering.

Very sad to hear but I am ecstatic that I got to at least go to the last one where I truly felt like I was accepted into your small but fantastic group. I'm 98.6 percent sure I'm gonna purchase a big dog bagger within the next few weeks( hopefully next weekend) so I can fully be accepted by all of you fine folks. Like I said before that May just be the best bike rally I was ever at. I really loved the whole atmosphere. Thanks again everyone for making me feel part of the group

Even though you don't have a Big Dog (yet) , I'd say you are welcome to hang out with all of us anytime you want. I personally had a great time meeting and chatting with you , and I think everyone else will agree with me. Hope ya get that bagger soon and, like I tell all my friends, Stay Safe !

Thank you for the memories you did allow us to create at the Douglas Farm.
I couldn’t imagine how exhausting it would have to be to host one of these events.
the both of you working your asses off long before, during and after the event that everybody could enjoy themselves.
hopefully we will see you in September, and somewhere else along the line.

I agree 100% The logistics involved in these events are mind boggling, and to make it work like they have is incredible in my opinion! Thanks again Knot, Steph, Bobby, and all the folks who contributed food, supplies, and services! Till we can all get together again, Stay Safe all!
