I just wanted to say thanks to Curtis from Wild Steed for the help on the RIP kit. After problems with some wiring on the kit that came from KWM, Curtis sorted out the issues and I installed the kit. My k9 has never ran this good before. I will definitely will buy anything else I need for my k9 from Curtis. He has great customer service.

What problems did you have with the kit? I just purchased one and haven't installed it yet.

Dave's issue was a miss pinned positive and negative wire at the momentary relay. When power was applied it took out the relay. Relay was replaced and kit was bench tested for correct operation at WSW before returning it to the customer.

Looks like RIP has some QC issues to take of. Glad you got it fixed for him. I guess if you are going to buy a RIP (can't believe they called it that) system Curtis is your best bet at least he backs up what he sells. :up:

Bill, I'm not so sure you are correct about the young part, when I spoke to Curtis a few months back he mentioned his age. I believe he is closer to old than young. :roll:
