Test Drove the Wolf and Bulldog

Since I have a promotion coming up soon I am thinking on upgrading my 02 boxer to a to a newer K-9. I happen to be in OK City for a few days, so I decided to go by OKC Thunder Cycles to check out the Big Dogs. Started bullshitting with Mike in sales and he asked me if I wanted to go for a spin. Unfortunately they K-9s are on order, but they had a Bull Dog and a Wolf I could check out.

First I took the Bull Dog out and was impressed with the smooth ride and the amount of power. It was also a pleasant change doing 90 and not feeling like I was getting blown off the bike. I still think my old boxer has as much or more power though, but couldn't really tell cuz of the rev limiter. I liked the bike a lot, but didn't care for my foot position much and think I would have to go with extensions and pegs vs the floor boards if I ever bought one.

Then I rode the Wolf. I prefer my riding position on this bike, but it wasn't as comfortable. It seemed to have more power and looks good in person, but after riding the Bull Dog it seemed like you could feel every little bump. Each one has its positives and negatives, but if I had to choose I think I would get more use and enjoy the Bull Dog more.

Conclusion: Thanks Mike at OKC Thunder Cycles for letting me test drive the bikes. Also enjoyed the beer at the Bar it's connected to. Although I think I like the Bull dog better than the Wolf, I will probably still go with the K-9 when the time comes.
