Tech lights all lite while bike running

I have a 2006 Bigdog Mastiff and when I was out riding over the weekend the first problem I ran into was when I went to turn off the bike the bike wanted to continue to run. Once I fired the bike back up to head home as soon as I pulled into my driveway I looked down and my Tech lights were all lite. Then they would go out then all light up again. I turned the bike off and have not started since to check. Any ideas to what this might be?

Could be many things for both issues.

Won't turn off with key switch:
Isn't there an OFF button on the handlebars for carb model bikes? If there is then use it to turn off the engine (recommended).
When you turn ON the keyswitch it connects the EHC key input signal to ground. If it turns OFF reliably using the BUTTON then it's the keyswitch contacts not breaking, keyswitch associated wiring may be damaged somewhere or an EHC problem.

Tach lights all go ON and OFF:
If the engine runs fine then either the Power or signal wires AT or running to the annunciator board in the speedo head are comprimised or the anninciator PCB is bad. Because they ALL go ON and OFF (POWER ON RESET) leads me to think the annunciator PCB power is getting interrupted due to a wire connection problem.

I know my 05 when it is idling at a low rpm all the tach lights will light up. Also a bad battery ground could make your tach lights do funny things. Like mentioned above if the bike is running fine it has something to do with the tach wiring or board.

Defiantly sounds like the key switch, do as Bigdog Bro1 says to try the stop button on the handle bar. If this works then most likely the key switch. If you are talking about the tachometer lights flashing then check your idle speed as spadesluck suggested.

When I turned off the bike it was by the off switch on the handle bars and not by the key. Yes the bike seemed to be running fine at the time the tech started to act up.
