After 2 tours to iraq and letting my wife run the show i'm a blessed man. If you really MAN UP and think about all the things our WIFES do for us i don't think theres a man out there that can say they don't take care of us. I will say it every time you ask me so THEY CANT BE WRONG. Or i may be a really blessed man.My wife is Awesome and she has my back as well.I sure hope all my fellow BDM Riders find one like i have now and forever. she's always asking me about what I'm doing to the dog when i change oil or saying it's dirty and we need to wash it,because she likes riding as much as i do and she likes our ride to have a spit and polish as much as i do.Anyway all i can say is believe in her and all your dreams will come true.Maybe not today but it takes two to get the job done.

Guys it sounds as though many of us are blessed with great wifes. Believe me I know. Military life is hard on the wives. Everytime I went overseas I would come home to a divorce (did three tours), now have been married 16 years and she has put up with a lot of shit. Still no regrets for the military life (I flew Cobras) and definitely would do it again. However, I do have a few adult children that I would sell really cheap!

Cavcom I flew just about every model of Cobras (plus a few that weren't producted), UH-1's and OH-58's. I'm a retired CW4 and miss the military life. Everything is structured and civilians don't have the same mentality. Keep busy when you retire and you'll make it. I did law enforcement for 5 1/2 years and then started my own business a a general contractor. I retired from the Army 11/91. Good luck to you.

Oh yes I'll stay busy, used to have my own auto shop and am a certified mechanic so I'm thinking of pouring a pad in the back lot and building a new shop to work out of. I still have customers that come to the house for me to fix there autos. Do good work and treat there cars like it was mine and they get good service at a fair price. I even tell them what parts they need and let them buy them to save them some money and it works out cause all the warranty paperwork is in there name. Yep I'll find something to do been thinking about this for awhile.

Looking forward to retirement
What grass???? with thid drought thing going on here in North west Louisiana our grass is fried!!!!! I haven't started my mower since June. The state's Dept. of Natural Resources has ban all outside watering, filling of swimming pools, washing cars. Water can only be used for drinking, bathing and cooking. The wife still sneeks out at midnight and waters her flower beds. The D.N.R. is enforcing a $250.00 fine if they catch anyone watering. No exceptions. We are 98 days now without rain!!!! And it was 105 degrees again yesterday.
