Taking Front Wheel Off

I took the caliper off and took the left side hex bolt for the axle off. I'm trying to take the right side axle bolt off and completely twisted the allen wrench. Am I missing something since the manual doesn't cover this or did some jacka** possibly put red loctite on it?

Also, I'm chroming both wheels. Is there anything I need to be careful about while dissembling the wheels (ie, taking off hubs, sprocket, rotors, etc.)?

Did you loosen the two pinch screws at the bottom of the right lower leg?

I've added a pic from the 2006 manual, hope this helps!

That right side axle bolt is the axle. Like the others said there are two tiny allen wrench pinch bolts that keep that from spinning. Take the two pinch bolts off and tap it out front the left side. Once you slide the axle out there are two spacer, one on each side of the wheel.

make sure you record which spacer goes on which side. and i believe you need to look for a lip on the spacers as to which end of the spacer goes next to the bearing.
