tachometer question

Energy One
sometimes after starting the bike the tach will light up all the way across the annunciator panel, after a few seconds lights go out and the tach works normally. Has anyone had this happen before.

You need to turn the key on and wait for the tach to cycle. IE got all the way across and back down before hitting start.

At least on mine if I hop on quick turn key and start before the cycle my tach no workie. I have go turn it off and start it again.

I believe your idle is a little low at initial start, (cold) idling under a 1000 rpm. I think this is a low oil pressure warning built into these bikes. when your tach does that again crack the throttle just a little and watch the tach drop to normal rpm's.
