swivel bearings on swingarm

how do you remove the swivel bearings on a rolling thunder swingarm?? i removed the snap ring clips and ruined them they were so tight...so do i press out the swivel bearing? press inward or outward? i would think outward, out clip side.

Pressed out. Should be from the inside out.

update...it does not matter...bearings are not tapered and the stop, is the snap ring clip on outside...pressed mine inside to the out
