I have an 08 Mutt with the Suppertrapp 2 into one pipe. I was looking under the bike and I noticed the inner pipe on the bottom has holes in it. It looks like someone took a 22 and shot 4 or five holes in it. Is this the way the pipe is made???

Wish I could help. I'll bet they are drain holes for the heat shield, not actually through the inner pipe. My bike had V&H installed when I bought it. Post a pic of your Mutt. Trying to scare-up all the Mutt owners to represent!

They are in the pipe not the heat shield. That's why they don't make sense to me. They make the pipe sound airy. Pops and backfires also.

Chaingunner has this pipe and says he has no holes. I am going to try and plug them up. I think they can screw up the tuning/back pressure. It defeats the purpose of having tunable disces, which the Supertrapp supposedly has in their design.
