Supercharged Anyone?

Was at this show yesterday picking up my Tanks from the 95 and Got to talking to this "Sam Torres" fella anyway super nice guy knew his shit ..anyway hears the photos of the two bikes "he built" He told me HP in the 190's Anyone running a Supercharger/or Turbo? seems to me if you can tune it a wild way to add a lot of zip. Hears the pictures .

I looked very heavily at the magna supercharger for a long time before doing anything to my motor. The epa motors are a great candidate for this mod as they generally like the compression around the 9:5.1 area or lower. Another nice item is that it itself is adjustable to what you want. After reading up on it for several months and actually pricing out the unit and setting it up I decided against it. Read up on some of the oil starvation issues caused by these monsters and what's involved to correct it. In case your wondering what the price was that I got well it was $1200 for the motor alterations to deal with the oil problem and the best price I got was $6200 for the unit itself so that was $7400 if I installed the unit myself and then figure around another $300 for tuning. Also you will need custom made pipes, new cables, and you may need some modifications to the forward controls. But all these things aside if I had the money I still would have done it.

I seem to recall that Brian, the salesman in the Wichita BDM store, was working up a 2004 chopper with a blower. I never heard how it worked out.

for a $7000 supercharger, you could buy a Hayabusa........ go as fast as you want to go. thats what i did. comfortable, got alot of attention, and NOBODY can hang with you. i grew out of that though......
