Does anyone have any suggestions where one might find a nipple to
screw into the vent hole on the bottom of s&s carb.I would like to run a hose from it to keep it from discoloring the carb.

T. Byrd - are you possibly talking about the bowl overflow vent? If so, you do not want to cap it off. It should have a line running from it to under the bike. Oddly, the fuel line used for model car racing and aquarium air pumps will fit, so you can pick those up at a hobby shop or a pet store if you're far from a MC shop....

No I'm talking about the plug in the bottom of the vent hole at the far left
side of the carb. When you are running a volicity stack or a breather
system that has no filter system you are supposed to pull this plug.I was just wandering if anyone might know where one could find a nipple to fit where
the plug was.
