Stuck Fork Cover

I noticed a small bit of residue on my forks today. Nothing serious, but I thought I'd unscrew the fork covers and clean them up a bit.

I got one of those rubber adjustable strap wrenches to help. One side came off easily. The other cover is stuck. So stuck that it broke the strap wrench! :bang:

Any ideas about how to get this 'lil fucker to come off? :confused:

Call your dealer and BDM will warranty it. In 2005 some of the bikes got RED LOCTITE put on those covers and shouldn't have. The dealer destroyed mine getting them loose and BDM covered it even with my bike WAY out of warranty because they knew that they had done wrong. Call BDM customer service.

Yeah we have saw a few problems of this on here recently.
