Springer all day long ! Do a search. Several have done the swap.

There are several things to consider.
1- Is your rake great enough for the springer to work well
2- Will the rake and trail be right with the springer, the springer will increase the trail
3- Do you live where there are rough roads, pot holes? The springer will be a rougher ride on those kinds of roads.
4- Can you find risers to fit the BD bars?
You can put a springer on almost any bike but will it be right, work well? Do a lot of research before you spend the big bucks...
