STOCK SEAT .... PUSH ???

QUESTION... is the stock seat on my 2006 chopper a push solo, is there a diff. model that is more low profile i got long legs and have the ext. forward controls .and im still not as cumffy as id like to be. i cant find a part number for such a seat on bd's web site at least not with a refrence to my make and model

Pics of the seat. Push seats aren't stock, but that's not to say whoever you bought it from didn't have one. With a pic we can tell you if it's a push

is the back of the seat a couple inches thick or is it about 5 or 6 inches thick? thick is the "push".

You probably have the regular seat. The push seat looks like a couch on the bike.

anyone know this part #232-000028-00 is a seat for what they say is for my ride but can't find in bdm's list of parts p.s. they are 75 dollars per new

if you need a little more room, you can send your seat to "seatmaker" and he can modify it and do a custom cover for you.

Here's an old quote I found the mentions the part # you refer to:

BDM230-00190 is your stock solo seat Mario, and it doesn't show an cross-fit for other bikes. 232-000028-00 is for the 05 Chopper and also fits the 05 Bulldog. The Push Solo for your Ridgeback is limited to your bike as well. The 2-up can be used on the Ridgeback and the K-9 for various years.

Big Dog must be putting on the Push seats on all the new K9s because everyone I have seen has the thicker seat that Gas is saying is the Push. The Mastiff I used to own had the thinner back but my K9 is definitely thicker...just like the white bike above.

I had the same problem with my seat on my 04 mastiff. I took it to a local seat guy here and he put a groove in the foam and re-covered it with a ostrich leather. Made a ton of difference.

When I bought my 07 K-9 new it had the push seat on it.When I bought 06-K-9 used it had the regular seat.

I have a 06 K-9 and it came with the stock seat. I just recently shipped it out to the seatmaker and he inserted a gel pad and then I had him add red flames in the seat and my nickname on the back. I just bought an 05 chopper with a regular seat. If I buy a push seat will the passenger seat still fit or do I have to buy another passenger seat as well?
