Stock Pipes for 06 Ridgeback

I have stock Pipes for 06' Ridgeback. I will let go for $25 plus shipping. The reason I am selling them #1 bought mean mothers instead and #2 is on the pipes on the front side black mark melted from a glove that touched the pipe. Not sure if it will come off. Pipes are in great condition. I have no bracket with the pipes. I will post pic if needed. Thanks

A lot of times that black stuff will come off with Oven Cleaner. Spray it on with pipe cold, let it sit for a while and carefully scrap off with a plastic razor knife (not metal) The last bit of it will come off with a good chrome polish:2thumbs:

OK Will try that. Thanks I tried Goo Gone and other chemicals like it didn't budge. I was the dumb ass that touched the pipe in the first place. DUHH!

a very sharp new flat razor blade held at an angle as to not gouge the chrome will clean any burnt on goodies off your pipes. Just be careful not to gouge the chrome, hold the blade at a very flat angle and just scrape the blemish off, finish up with your normal chrome polish, i do this all the time to get the girls boot burns off my pipes.

I have had pretty good luck just taking a clean COTTON terry cloth and while the pipe is good and hot, just rub it really hard. Most of the time I do this before it has baked on for a while.

Aluminium foil wadded up and rub while the pipes are hot. That's how I do it all the time.
