isub.i removed my paint savers which was easy since i repainted the bike.im using late model harley caps.i had to file the plastic where it screws on to the cap to make them fit in the tank hole.i also used the rubber gasket from the paint savers to make the caps fit flat.the caps are very low profile,hope the helps you.only took me about 30 minutes,good luck
