Starter Oil Leak

Allrightythen... I got the starter out and WOW What a pain in the ass to take out... OK theres a hole at the bottom of the starter.. what I did is tiped it upside down to see if any oil was going to come out and it did...:job: LOL!! So is there a seal inside thats bad...or is the big O oring by the gear??? Or is time for a new one....

Is it true that the bearing has a bad seal as well ( jack shaft on starter) and thats what allows oil to seep through... Iam going to check the primary vent to... it was said that causes pressure to build and "seepage" to happen... Dont really want to buy a new starter but Iam going to tear this one down and clean it up real good... I dont want to go through this again and especially pulling that starter out..cause that sux with large suxn sounds!!
