squeal from primary

SORRY... heres one youve heard a million times..

I have a 99 prosport, 107 S&S, Baker 5 spd...
Im getting a short chirpy like squeal when I come off the throttle, or when I let out the clutch upon down shifting. Ive read several threads that talk about squeals...but theyve all said they sqeal only when they take off... any ideas????

maybe from your belt,also check the upper motormount for tightness

Belt is good...chain is correctly adjusted...:bang:

try search on clutch adjustments and pushrod,if memory is correct but at my age who knows,i think some guys had squeaks from pushrod,lube or lack of

when is the last time the clutch push rod was lubed?

it can squeal if not lubed. happened 2x on mine

My 04 Chopper was doing the same thing, found it was top motor mount. Check that and base mounts and willing to bet that will be where chirp is coming from
