squeaking belt

Final drive belt making a squeaking noise... advice please...things I've checked: Belt tension, and belt alignment, seems to be in the center of both pulleys, it's clean, no oil on it, this only happens when I start gearing down and also when a let off the throttle. Not on acceleration. Am I over looking anything else?

Mine was making a noise and I opened the door on the side of the primary and tighting the belt that seem to do it... It might be easier with 4 hands instead of 2 cause u have to hold tension and tighting at the same time..

Just went through the same issue...... Everything is aligned correctly, belt tension is correct, yet when de-celerating, it squeaked....... Took a wax candle and rubbed it on the belt teeth. Squeak is gone.
