Spill Cap Stuck

Hey All I am about to throw a new paint job on my bike and was getting all the prep done I decided to replace the spill caps as this side was leaky . I got the right side off with no problem but the left side is not budging . I don't want to break the tool or damage the cap to the point it is permanent has anyone else had this issue ? any suggestion on the best approach ?

The left side is reverse threads. You need to turn clockwise to loosen.

Yep, the tank threads for the paint-saver are the same as the cap, reverse.
