Spike Air Cleaner Info

I have a 2006 K-9 and am wondering if a spike type air cleaner will improve my foot position on the right peg and avoid some of the tendancy to vibrate off? Has anyone used the e-bay offered spike air cleaner from vgcycle? If so can you let me know what you think about the quality and any performance loss or gain as a result of installation. Thanks.

i just put a spike air cleaner on my 04.got it from ebay from kc.called pro force but it seems to be like the wimmer.very good quality.the only thing was the breather bolts werent chrome.i had a problem with my feet slidinf off my billit pegs so i put track shoe spikes on the pegs and no more sliding.you can get them in 2 sizes at a sporting goods store.

I was never able to get a spike air cleaner to flow enough air to keep the motor running correctly while gassing on it. Apparently that's why I only got 3 thousand miles out of my rear tire after getting one that would actually flow enough air...

my 2 cents, leave it alone,i got a dual spike and i had a hell of a time getting my bike to run,,,

Spikes are worthless. I had mine dyno'd with the spikeKilled the numbers) and then cut the damn thing off and slid on a K&N and much better flow.

Vgcycles are crooks. I recently bought a spike air cleaner from them and the bolt pattern on the air cleaner will not fit my carburator. I emailed them explaining the problem and they won't return my email.

I'm having my dealer machine a piece to extend the brake lever so my foot will reach. I'll post a photo next week once I get it.
