Was that the Maggie valley weekend rally about 4 weeks ago and yes I know it was canceled but a bunch of us still went. We had some rain that weekend and on the last day I rode through a huge area of water my speedometer cut out totally bike still ran fine and when it started to come back it reset the miles. Of course I figured it was just the water and once it dried out everything would be fine, well right now the bike is only reading about 185 miles and it was just getting ready to turn over 8,000 miles when this happened. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what did you do to get the correct miles back on the bike. I know I'm going to get a lot of jokes saying hey that's awesome, it's great news now you got a new bike again but all jokes aside I would love to have my speedometer reading the correct miles that are on the bike.
