Doesn't everyone keep there scoots on life support 24/7 when it's in the garage?I have been leaving mine on trickle charge if it's going to sit awhile and has not accured.
Go figure.
No, you battery is discharging some amount (it's in the manual) everyday so it should be maintained on a tender so that it is fully charged. I think it was Fat Cat that posted that if the speedo doesn't have at least 12 full volts or it won't cycle properly at startup. Not me. If the battery needs to be on a charger it isn't healthy or the charging system isn't up to snuff. Right?
yeah Ray...I think thats what mine was doing....maybe my battery is getting weak...I always keep it on the tender....and thats probably why my speedo froze up when it was cold...on first start...then after a few miles....I shut the bike off and then restart...then it works again.....but still fogs....I'm thinking of getting one of those Interstate batteries like Jake has..with 310ccaNo, you battery is discharging some amount (it's in the manual) everyday so it should be maintained on a tender so that it is fully charged.
