SPEEDO HELP !!!!!

Hi All:

Just noticed that my speedo is jumping all over the place. 15 to 40 to 20 to 0 wont stand still when I'm riding.:bang:

What can cause this and what can I do to correct it ?

Want to get the Dakota Digital face but not sure if I will have to correct this problem before I do.

I assume you still have the "white faced" version of the speedo. They suffered from vibration. The is a service bulletin out to change the mounts on them to a wider mount. Pictures here somewhere of it.
Other versions suffer from weak start ups from a weak battery. See my How To thread on speedo's.
And others have taken it apart and ensure the three wires are still soldered on the circuit board cleanly. I would check the connections inside the case and under the tank and fill them with die-electric grease and clean off your transmission speedo sensor.
