Speedo GONE!!!

So now that I got everything running smooth, the speedo decides to call it quits. it has power to it considering the light still comes on and it still gives the mileage but as far as the actual speed it just floats all over the place.:angry::bang::angry::bang: The worst part about it is that I tried to find another one and the one that keeps popping up it the digital one which i dont want.....FML! Does anyone have an extra working speedo that they would sell???

Mine went out as well and I didn't want a digital. I sprung the big bucks for the Medallion. It works great. I find you really have to press hard on the reset buttons to get them to work. Look wise, you can't beat the original.

this will definitely do but will i have to rewire the whole thing? not exactly what you would call mechanically inclined...

I put an Auto Meter in mine. Wasn't difficult. But as Dennis stated, could very well be the sensor.

I just replaced mine with a digital when I made some upgrades and it was working just fine...If you are interested make me an offer

And while you're at it you could make sure the EHC connections are clean...

KOOL, will do....now do i put some dialetic grease on those connections? Hate to sound dumb as hell but being new to all this stuff i want to know evertyhing and anything.

Mine was acting the same way until I cleaned the connector at the trans. Its read perfect ever since...
Just throwing it out there.

Yep, that helps protect the connections from the elements...
