Speedo Display?

i have a question about my odometer / trip meter display....when i turn on my ignition the first display is of a mileage reading which i have no idea what the meaning is ???
Then after a few seconds it goes into its normal display which it the trip meter display
Can anyone explain what the hell the first reading is ???

It is the speedo calibration pulse count I think you are referring to? It displays on all of them.

Back in 03 it flashed 3 numbers if I remember right and I believe one of them was an hours count on the motor, then the pulse number then the odometer.

Newer versions only flash the pulse count now.
