Speedo case

Anyone ever have the case of the speedo separate and not stay together? Is there a rubber washer or ??

There is a screw that holds it in at the bottom of the speedo case. The nut that the screw threads into is tac welded to a frame. I have seen that nut separate from the tac weld which allows the case to come loose.

hmm I see no screw towards the front of the case where it seperates.
