I recently ordered two bottles of the Spectro Heavy Duty Platinum GI-5 6 speed gear oil 75w140 over the internet. I received it and instead they shipped out the Spectro Heacy Duty Platinum Gear Oil GL-1 75w-140. Looking at the Spectro web site they appears to be identical. This is slao recommended for transmission oil. Should I go ahead and keep them or should I change them for the GI-5? I have enough for three oil changes. Unfortunately the scoot is sitting on the jack with the trans oil completely drained out. Didn't realize it was the different stuff until I cracked the cap open.
