New here folks, and old guy too, but about to buy my first Big Dog. 2004 Mastiff. Today, while giving it the once over and turning the front wheel back and forth, I experienced a very slight clicking noise and vibration while the front wheel made it to the 10 or 2 O'clock positions. I thought it was in the neck,,,but now thinking it could be coming from the front axel,or maybe rubbing the front brake disc. Maybe a worn bearing? It has 2500 miles on it. Is it common?

Thanks for looking at this. :loony:

Welcome from Washington State, hope you enjoy the site. Make sure it's not the clutch or throttle cables hitting the gas tank. Mine did that and it was my cables sliding into the tank along the back bone...

Welcome from Texas. Just had the same thing and did the neck bearings. I would PM the forks while it's apart.

Agree with the the others: neck bearing or something hitting the tank are the first suspects
