Going to get my bike in the morning. Was wondering witch sissy bar was better for my wife. 18" or 12"

We had a 12" on the bike for the two day ride home after we bought it, and got the 18" in the mail a couple of weeks later.
The wench said the 12" pushed her further forward on the saddle than the 18", and it was not as comfy. The sissy bar has a bit of angle to it, and with the pad lower it was further forward.
We kept the 18" and sent the 12" back to the dealer.

Some guys say this... the higher tanked choppers should have the 18" where as the low tank prostreets look better with the 12"

Further, some like the 18" cause they can strap more to it for trips.

I have a Pitbull which only comes with the 12" sissy bar (no 18 available). It looks great on a pro street. The wife hasn't complained about the comfort of the sissy bar... although she is on a rigid so the sissy bar is the least of her worries.
