Ok,
I am replacing the dash on my 2005 Mastiff due to screw up the original. I was able to get a new one from BigDogPartsKing, but it was white and my Mastiff is Midnight Sapphire.
Anyway decided to a little break in the new dash, so painted it with Midnight Sapphire with some silver metallic on bottom and in the dish on top. Then decided I was going to add some silver leaf. So anyway got the stuff for the silver leaf, read a little, watched some videos and decided what the hell, give it a try. So I did, here is my first video of the silver leafing.
Will break the leaf transition later with some One Shot Gold pin stripe and then clear it all and put it on and go ride. See how it comes out in the end and if I am not happy or screw it up, sand it back down and give it a coat of HOK Midnight Sapphire and clear and put it back on.
So far better than I expected.
