Sidecar axle broke

My neighbor has a harley davidson motorcycle with a sidecar and the axle on the sidecar broke. We've ordered a replacement but I don't know how to remove the broken axle to put the new one in. If someone could explain how or send a link to a video that shows how it'd be a big help.

Wait until your new axle arrives and you can put eyes on it. It might help you figure it out. Got any pictures?
