Why do some side covers include the flames and other matching graphics and some are just plain when the rest of the body parts have graphics?
Thank you Joe

well, i guess there's your sign. :spank::spank: honestly, there could be any number of reasons. one in particular, back in early '08 model year, the company admitted there was a problem with the system for mounting the side covers (vibration was breaking the ears off most of them) so the came up with a system that included rubber isolation bushings. problem was, a lot of the side covers had already broken and were replaced with covers that didn't necessarily have the matching graphics. that is one of the reasons.

Yep, I repaired mine and then had to send them back because they needed them to match the paint job on the new set, but I had asked if they could return the ones I had fixed with the new ones and they did. The new ones broke anyway so I put the original ones back on that I had fixed, I still have to repair the broken ones. But they did match the graphics on mine.
