I am making a trip to knoxville tn for a missions conference. My back tire may or may not make the trip. Still seems to have plenty of tread left with 9000 miles on it. My question is there a shop near knoxville that sells and installs 250 rear tires for my dog. I would prefer a dunlop elite 3 this time. Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes you have 2 choices. Knoxville Harley davidson and Smokey Mountain Harley Davidson. Call them in advance and they will have the tire waiting for you.

I live minutes from Knoxville, if you have any problems while in the area, feel free to call me on my cell: 865-599-6356. I personally get my tires from Ultimate Motorsports on Kinston Pike in Knoxville. Their phone #865-577-6367 and ask for Trent Sullivan. Call them in advance if you want to have the tire waiting on you or to check prices compared to the other dealers. They sell other makes of bikes but they have the equipment to install the big tires and not damage your expensive wheels. You might want to give serious consideration to replacing the bearings in the rear wheel if they have that many miles on them while you have the rear wheel off.
