Well i was out in the garage thumbing through my service manual for my 2006 Mastiff.
I don't find it as informative as my Harley Davidson service manuals.
I was hoping it would walk you through all disassembles and assemblies.
Nothing even for oil changes? :(
Why did i spend a $100 on this manual?
Is it just me?
Or does this Big Dog manual suck? :D

I know what you mean, I think the manual is geared more for the mechanic that already knows most of the general stuff. the manual just covers all of the nuances of the Big Dogs.

the guys on the board have done a great job describing most of the required procedures such as changing oil, general servicing, tuning, etc.... just check the 'how-to' section. I use the service manual just to see where components are located and how they are taken apart or put back together.

You might also want to get the S&S Super Sidewinder Plus manual as well. It has information that the BD manual doesen't. I paid about 25$ bucks I think for mine.

Nelson may be able to hook you up with one of these:2thumbs:

From the same people who created the one and only propriety EHC for the Big Dog bikes and canned the 12vdc system....
