While on a 1200 mile trip my Mutt died on the side of a mountain in Kentucky. Semi trucks were roaring passed us around blind bends in the road. I looked over and two white crosses were sticking up, marking a fatal crash site. Needless to say I was a little uncomfortable.
Within 5 minutes a bike and then a truck with a trailer stopped to help. They loaded the bike up and drove us to the next town where we were able to get the bike running in about 3 hours. They both stayed the whole time, helping out and making sure we were going to be ok.
I don't know of many people that would inconvenience themselves like that, but I am glad they are still out there.
