You may be able to find a cover from like Kurakan, Drag Specialist, JP or the many many various vendors that sell bling for HD. The switch is nothing special and I would imagine that someone has some bling that will suite your taste.
On the pins and plactic piece, if I understand you right, that sound like the connector for the switch and if so, it is an intergated to the switch, thus you have to order a new switch. Not sure, but is probably common to other ones, however to be on the safe side, contact Baker (if it has the Baker Tranny) or manufacture of transmission if older model.

See that you have an 2005 model, if Big Dog Performance Parts cannot help you out, check with Baker, they should be able to.

Get a new switch for sure. Just replaced my buddies switch on a 05 mastiff, should just be two wires with ring connectors, throw them on the new switch and away you go.
